The conference focuses the theme of the regeneration of mountain communities through character aggregative structures socio-cultural. As part of the conference, Marco Cuaz’s speech entitled “Beyond the snow. Paths and perspectives of the Alpine territory” paints a picture of the evolution of the relationship between man and mountain, touching on the current problems of the Alpine world, its critical issues and possible ones resources on which to operate to recreate a new balance. This is followed by the presentation of four architectural works that they have been able to generate in the phases of planning and implementation, in different contexts and ways, a sense of participation and sharing in Alpine communities. Gianmatteo Romegialli, Mirko Franzoso, Ramun Fidel Capaul (Capaul&Blumenthal), Corrado Binel and Kurt Egger (EM2 Architekten) present a reception structure for people with disabilities in the province of Sondrio, a house for the community in the province of Trento, a small village cinema and a restoration for the Holiday Foundation in historic buildings in Switzerland and finally a centre visitors to the former Chamousira mine in Brusson, in the Aosta Valley. The character of social inclusion and the cultural value that these constructions share calls for the comparison and reflection on these experiences that have created new local economies and products new physical arrangements in the environments in which they were created.
Il Convegno Alpi in divenire – Costruzioni per la cultura nelle comunità di montagna focalizza il tema della rigenerazione delle comunità di montagna attraverso strutture aggregative di carattere socio-culturale. Nell’ambito del Convegno, l’intervento di Marco Cuaz dal titolo “Oltre la neve. Percorsi e prospettive del territorio alpino” traccia un quadro dell’evoluzione del rapporto tra uomo e montagna, toccando le problematiche attuali del mondo alpino, le sue criticità e le possibili risorse su cui operare per ricreare un nuovo equilibrio.
Segue la presentazione di quattro opere di architettura che hanno saputo generare nelle fasi di progettazione e realizzazione, in contesti e modi diversi, un senso di partecipazione e di condivisione nelle comunità alpine. Gianmatteo Romegialli, Mirko Franzoso, Ramun Fidel Capaul (Capaul&Blumenthal), Corrado Binel e Kurt Egger (EM2 Architekten) presentano una struttura di accoglienza per persone con disabilità in provincia di Sondrio, una casa per la comunità in provincia di Trento, un piccolo cinema di paese e un restauro per la Fondazione vacanze in edifici storici in Svizzera e infine un centro visitatori nella ex miniera di Chamousira a Brusson, in Valle d’Aosta. Il carattere di inclusione sociale e la valenza culturale che accomuna tali costruzioni sollecita il confronto e la riflessione su queste esperienze che hanno creato nuove economie locali e prodotto nuovi assetti fisici negli ambienti in cui sono state realizzate.
